They located the suspect&#8217;s vehicle near the West Entrance and stopped it in the town of West Yellowstone, Montana.<\/li>\n<li>Yoder was arrested and charged with 1) being under the influence of alcohol to a degree that may endanger oneself, 2) disorderly conduct as to create or maintain a hazardous condition, 3) approaching wildlife, and 4) disturbing wildlife.<\/li>\n<li>The driver of the vehicle Yoder traveled in, 37-year-old McKenna Bass, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was also arrested and cited for 1) driving under the influence, 2) interference for failure to yield to emergency light activation, and 3) disturbing wildlife.<\/li>\n<li>Yoder sustained minor injuries from the encounter with the bison.<\/li>\n<li>Rangers transported Yoder to a nearby medical facility where he was medically evaluated, treated and released from medical care. He then was transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center.<\/li>\n<li>Yoder and Bass appeared in court on April 22 and pleaded not guilty to the charges. At this point, these are merely allegations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.<\/li>\n<li>Each violation can result in fines up to $5,000 and six months in jail.<\/li>\n<li>The incident remains under investigation, and there is no additional information to share.<\/li>\n<li>This is the first reported incident of a visitor being injured by a bison in 2024. The last reported incident occurred on July 17, 2023. There was one reported incident in 2023 and three in 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Source; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yell\/learn\/news\/240429.htm\">NPS<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Wisconsin elementary school teacher, 24, busted for \u2018making out\u2019 with 5th-grader \u2014 three months before wedding<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>A 24-year-old Wisconsin elementary school teacher was arrested Wednesday for allegedly \u201cmaking out\u201d with her fifth-grade student \u2014 less than three months before her wedding.<\/p>\n<p>Madison Bergmann\u2019s alleged abuse of the 11-year-old boy came to light when the student\u2019s mother overheard her son talking to the teacher on the phone, CBS News Minnesota reported.<\/p>\n<p>The victim\u2019s parents allegedly found texts between the pair, and the boy\u2019s father then stormed into River Crest Elementary School with printouts of the conversations.<\/p>\n<p>The deranged text chain included messages from Bergmann allegedly discussing multiple encounters inside the classroom during lunch or after school.<\/p>\n<p>She is also accused of telling the child how much she enjoyed him touching her and \u201cmaking out,\u201d the charging documents state.<\/p>\n<p>Inside her bag, police also found a folder with the victim\u2019s name on it containing many handwritten notes talking about how much they kissed one another, the charges allege.<\/p>\n<p>In one of the letters, Bergmann allegedly wrote, \u201cOne of my cousins is in the 5th grade and I can\u2019t imagine a man talking to her how we talk. I know we have a special relationship and I do love you more than anyone in the world but I have to be the adult here and stop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not clear how long the abuse had been going on, but Bergmann told investigators she was given the boy\u2019s phone number by his mother in December when his family invited who they thought was a beloved teacher with them to the Afton Alps for winter break.<\/p>\n<p>That was the same month she became engaged to her longtime boyfriend, her social media shows.<\/p>\n<p>According to the document, when officers asked about text exchanges between the two, Bergmann invoked her right to an attorney.<\/p>\n<p>The accused pervert has since been placed on administrative leave and barred from contacting any district students, parents or staff, the Hudson School District told parents the same day as her arrest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLearning about a school staff member and alleged inappropriate conduct that breaches trust is deeply troubling for all of us,\u201d the message states.<\/p>\n<p>According to her social media, Bergmann was set to be married in July \u2014 less than three months from when she was arrested.<\/p>\n<p>She began teaching at River Crest Elementary in 2022, a milestone she celebrated with a photo of her classroom on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCan\u2019t wait for school to start!\u201d she ominously wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Bergmann faces one count of first-degree child sexual assault. The 20-year-old suspect allegedly struck her in the back, spreading pieces of the meat on her shoulders, the affidavit reportedly stated.<\/p>\n<p>Medley reportedly confessed to law enforcement during a post-Miranda interview that he allegedly threw two pieces of fried chicken at his sister, according to the affidavit, Fox 35 Orlando reported. The suspect told police he was hungry before the incident occurred, which prompted his sister to offer him the chicken used in the alleged one-sided food fight.
