So then I just started experimenting. And now I\u2019m here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vice President Kamala Harris\u2019 stepdaughter opened her textile exhibition Thursday at a cannabis store on the Lower East Side \u2014 where she peddled knit portraits for several thousand dollars.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Let me make sure I have this sorted &#8211; a child of one of the top two people in our political hierarchy selling &#8220;special&#8221; art from a drug-related\u00a0 enterprise for exorbitant prices. Lots of sense.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Harris\u2019 stepdaughter was also asking for $4,500 for a textile of two heart-shaped Gucci hairclips \u2014 a 1,400% markup from the designer accessories after which they were modeled.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by nearly 400 people, many of whom identified themselves as knitting hobbyists \u2014 and about half of whom were described as \u201cqueer\u201d by one viewer.<\/p>\n<p>Emhoff declined to address rumors the exhibition was a fundraiser for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, a controversial anti-Israel organization which she caught fire for publicly supporting just last month. <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/04\/04\/us-news\/ella-emhoff-opens-textile-art-show-at-nyc-cannabis-shop\/?utm_source=yahoo&amp;utm_campaign=nypost&amp;utm_medium=referral\">NY Post<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>One suspects she may have looked to another Presidential offspring as an example.<\/p>\n<p>$5500?
