Children should depict on an egg template (see Art Submission form) a snapshot of their life \u2013 a favorite activity, scenery in your state, your military family, a day-in-your life, etc.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Under its restrictions list, the flyer noted, \u201cThe Submission must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Social media users shared their thoughts on the Daily Caller\u2019s story regarding the ban, one person writing, \u201cA snapshot of your life excluding part of your life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ll ban religion all together as soon as they think they can get away with it,\u201d someone else said, while another person commented, \u201cWhat does the Biden White House think Easter is all about? The Easter Bunny?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>UPI reported Thursday that the White House is bringing back its \u201cEGGucation\u201d theme for the Easter Egg Roll.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst lady Jill Biden, a longtime educator, will lead the festivities, which will include a reading nook, picture area, farm field trip, STEAM school and snack area. The Easter Egg Roll is a White House event that dates back to 1878,\u201d the outlet said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, inflation and supply chain issues in Biden\u2019s America are making the price of the eggs themselves (along with chocolate) rise, Breitbart News noted Friday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Source; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2024\/03\/30\/hoppin-mad-white-house-blasted-for-prohibiting-children-from-submitting-religious-easter-eggs-for-contest\/\">Breitbart<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>FDNY firefighters forced to remove flag honoring 9\/11 heroes after lefty pol questioned if it\u2019s a \u2018political symbol\u2019<\/h3>\n<p>Never forget 9\/11? These people forgot. She probably thinks it was just when &#8220;some people did something.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Fire Department brass ordered an East Village ladder company to remove its \u201cred line\u201d American flag honoring the squad\u2019s six brothers killed on 9\/11 \u2013 after a neighborhood resident complained it was \u201cfascist\u201d and a local lefty pol questioned whether it was a \u201cpolitically charged symbol.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The shocking order came March 22 after a man claiming he was a staffer for Democratic Manhattan Councilwoman Carlina Rivera confronted firefighters at Ladder Co. 11, sources said.<\/p>\n<p>The man pedaled up to the East 2nd Street firehouse on a bicycle and told firefighters he worked for Rivera and that the councilwoman\u2019s office \u201ccomplained\u201d to the FDNY three days earlier about the flag \u2013 which features a red stripe in tribute of firefighters injured or killed in the line of duty.<\/p>\n<p>He called it a \u201cfascist symbol\u201d and demanded to know why it was still up, sources said.<\/p>\n<p>In a March 19 email to FDNY Intergovernmental Affairs Coordinator Madison Hernandez, Rivera staffer Lisander Rosario said the councilwoman\u2019s office was contacted by the \u201cconstituent\u201d twice about the ladder company\u2019s flag and asked if it\u2019s violating department rules.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[FDNY staff] claimed it was to honor deceased firefighters, however, [the constituent] brought up that they could\u2019ve used an FDNY flag rather than a politically charged symbol,\u201d Rosario wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is to both his and our understanding that private political symbols aren\u2019t permitted to be displayed on public vehicles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCan you confirm if there are any violating flags\/symbols on Ladder 11?\u201d added the email, which was obtained by The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Hours after the \u201cconstituent\u201d left the firehouse, FDNY Deputy Chief Joseph Schiralli visited firefighters there and reluctantly said the flag must come off the fire truck because it violated a department prohibition of \u201caltered\u201d versions of the American flag.<\/p>\n<p>The rule was implemented in 2020 by then-Commissioner Daniel Nigro and then-First Deputy Commissioner Laura Kavanagh during the height of the anti-cop Black Lives Matters protests, sources said.<\/p>\n<p>Schiralli told the firefighters he agreed with them that it\u2019s \u201cridiculous\u201d to remove the flag, recalled one of the smoke-eaters.<\/p>\n<p>The order sparked immediate outrage on social media, with conservative Instagram influencer Rogan O\u2019Handley posting a photo of the flag and saying, \u201cNY firefighters were forced to take down a memorial for those that died on 9\/11. What\u2019s happened to NYC?!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hours later, now-Commissioner Kavanagh and Chief of Department John Hodgens reversed the decision and allowed the flag back on the truck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re happy with the outcome of this \u2014 but we\u2019re offended it happened in the first place,\u201d said a Ladder 11 firefighter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis flag has huge significance for us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ladder Company 11 displays its red line flag next to a memorial placard on the back of its fire truck honoring Lt.
