Fatal shooting at Collinsville home, police investigating<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCOLLINSVILLE, Ill. \u2013 Police are investigating a fatality in Collinsville Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Around 6 p.m., the Collinsville Police Department was sent to a reported shooting in the 500 block of St. Louis Rd.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, officers found a man on the front porch of a home and attempted life-saving measures until EMS arrived. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

\nAccording to the police department, initial reports say that the man was attempting to enter the residence when he was shot by the homeowner, who is said to be cooperating fully.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

NYPD: Machete-wielding man shot after car crash on Staten Island<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSTATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 NYPD detectives investigating Wednesday morning\u2019s shooting in Annadale say the incident took place after a traffic crash.<\/p>\n

After a minor collision, a 45-year-old man approached a 50-year-old man while brandishing a machete, according to a spokesman for the NYPD.<\/p>\n

The 50-year-old man discharged a firearm, striking the other man in the chest, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
