Man shot and killed during reported break-in at McCalla home<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nJEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) \u2014 A 33-year-old man was shot and killed at a home in McCalla early Friday morning.<\/p>\n

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened in the 6600 block of Newbridge Drive around 4:30 a.m. during a reported home invasion.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s office said deputies were told the man broke into the home and engaged in a physical altercation with the occupants.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s office said that during the altercation, shots were fired, killing the man who entered the home.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Four victims turn gun on suspect in Bourbon Street armed robbery<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nNEW ORLEANS (WGNO) \u2014 Four people defended themselves from an armed robber in the French Quarter on Wednesday, March 6.<\/p>\n

The New Orleans Police Department reported three men and a woman were walking in the 1200 block of Bourbon Street around 2:12 a.m. when another man approached them, pulled out a gun and asked for their property.<\/p>\n

NOPD officials said the victims fought the man for the gun, got control of it and told him to leave.<\/p>\n

According to police, the suspect then ran from the scene.<\/p>\n

Further details about the crime weren\u2019t released.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
