In March 2023, a maintenance team at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona was scheduled to work on an F-35. The Time Compliance Technical Directive required the team to remove a panel and insert a metering plug into an engine fuel line to check for fuel leaks.<\/p>\n

The engine run was completed with no visual evidence that something was wrong but once the engine was shut down, the team said they heard a noise.\u00a0 IEN<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The FCC has been under pressure from activist groups to force broadcast stations to publish their employees ethnic and racial backgrounds since the ’90s.<\/p>\n

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is enacting a new policy that will require broadcast stations to publicly disclose the demographic composition of their employees, raising concerns about the potential for identity-based hiring practices.<\/p>\n

In a narrow 3-2 vote, the FCC approved a policy requiring broadcast stations to submit annual reports detailing the racial, ethnic, and gender makeup of their workforce. This requirement, which was initially proposed in the 1990s but suspended due to confidentiality concerns, has now been revived, prompting fears that it could incentivize broadcasters to prioritize diversity quotas and hire a candidate based on their race and\/or gender rather than a merit-based hiring system.<\/p>\n

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr voiced strong opposition to the decision…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He is not a reactionary knee-jerk anti-quota guy – he is their former General Counsel and as of May 2022 Biden named him to RUN the FCC. If HE says this will lead to quotas hiring, believe him.<\/p>\n

And one of our favorite topics – Alec Baldwin* may not be on trial but the armorer, Hannah Guttierez, is. Remember how folks say “when the FBI tested the gun, it was broken”?<\/p>\n

An FBI expert testified in court Monday that the revolver used by Baldwin was fully functional with safety features when it arrived at an FBI laboratory. The expert said he had to strike the fully-cocked gun with a mallet and break it in order for it to fire without depressing the trigger.<\/p>\n

Haag, an Arizona-based consultant and expert in Old West firearms, testified Tuesday that he saw no evidence that the gun was broken or modified before it was tested by the FBI.\u00a0 AP<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sounds like live rounds got where they shouldn’t have, which probably IS her problem. But Baldwin’s “it went off by itself” defense is blown out of the water. Not to mention, whose finger was on the trigger?<\/p>\n
