NORTHERN DISTRICT SHOOTING INVESTIGATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Feb. 6, 2024, at approximately 1:28 a.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 3000 block of West Garrison Avenue for a reported shooting.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old male victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the stomach. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n

Preliminary investigators revealed that the victim broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and attempted to get into her locked bedroom when he was shot by his ex-girlfriend.<\/p>\n

Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Man shot after breaking into ex-wife\u2019s home in Calhoun County<\/strong>

CALHOUN COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) \u2014 A man was shot multiple times after attempting to break into his ex-wife\u2019s home, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies from CCSO responded to a call Tuesday afternoon from a woman in Alexandria reporting a home invasion by Scott Ingram, 47, of Munford. She identified him as her ex-husband.<\/p>\n

Authorities arrived at the scene and found Ingram, who was shot multiple times. He was immediately transported to a local hospital and his condition is currently being evaluated. The caller and her daughter were found outside the home uninjured.<\/p>\n

The preliminary investigation revealed that Ingram attempted to enter the home and was subsequently shot by one of the residents.<\/p>\n

According to CCSO, Ingram has a lengthy criminal history including four violations of a protection from abuse order, six arrests since 2022 and an active warrant for violation of a protection order issued from earlier Tuesday morning. Ingram was out on bond from a previous violation of a protection order from late last year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
