Capt. Larry Taylor died on Sunday, Jan. 28 at his home in Signal Mountain.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor received the Medal of Honor, the nation&#8217;s highest military honor, in Sept. 2023, which came nearly 55 years after he pulled off one of the most daring and unique rescues in American combat history.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Godspeed, Captain Taylor.
