One dead, two wounded in Wichita Falls shootout<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nOne person is dead and another is seriously wounded following a shootout at an apartment complex in Wichita Falls Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Police were called to the Country Park Apartments in the 5200 block of Professional Drive about 9:30 p.m. to investigate a report of gunshots.<\/p>\n

They found three people shot. All three were taken to United Regional Health Care where one person was pronounced dead. Police identified him as Quincy Moore, 32.<\/p>\n

One of the wounded people, a 33-year-old man, told officers he lived in the apartment where the incident happened. According to a WFPD news release, the man said two men brandished guns and tried to rob him.<\/p>\n

The resident also had a gun and exchanged shots. The other person who entered the apartment and was shot is in serious condition, according to WFPD. The resident was treated at the hospital and released.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Concealed carry holder shoots at armed robber at taco stand: Chicago police<\/strong><\/p>\n

CHICAGO \u2014 A 17-year-old boy narrowly escaped with his life after a concealed carry holder shot him as he robbed a Northwest Side burrito stand on Monday night, according to Chicago police.<\/p>\n

The well-known troublemaker pulled a gun on the staff at Taco Burrito King, 5413 West Belmont, around 9:35 p.m. and demanded cash from the register. Things went smoothly at first, with the cashier handing over money as instructed.<\/p>\n

But then a \u201cmale victim\u201d inside the restaurant who is a licensed concealed carry holder confronted the teen, Chicago police said in a media statement. The man pulled out his firearm and started shooting. Some bullets flew through the restaurant\u2019s windows; another grazed the boy\u2019s arm.<\/p>\n

He ran for the exit, jumped in a black SUV, and sped away. But he didn\u2019t get far. Police say he quickly crashed and then fled on foot. Cops caught him and recovered a firearm from inside his Honda CRV.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
