Deputies: 4 people shot after home invasion turns into shootout in Escambia County<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that sent four people to the hospital.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s office responded to the call early Tuesday morning on Bainbridge Avenue — just west of Fairfield Drive.<\/p>\n

The sheriff says dozens of rounds were fired.<\/p>\n

“All four had gunshot wounds and it’s because they were shooting at each other,” Simmons said.<\/p>\n

Sheriff Simmons says two people were sleeping inside the home when two others armed with guns broke into the residence.<\/p>\n

“That led to a shootout more or less inside the trailer between the people that were living there or staying there, sleeping there, and those that were breaking in and doing what we call a home invasion,” Simmons said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cThe incident was a continuation of an earlier incident at the home,\u201d a Wednesday news release update said.<\/p>\n

Graves is not being charged with any crimes, police said. Pope is still hospitalized.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis investigation is still ongoing and may result in criminal charges,\u201d the release added.<\/p>\n

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC\/WMGT) \u2013 A shooting in Warner Robins Tuesday resulted in one man being hospitalized, and the Warner Robins Police Department (WRPD) is now investigating.<\/p>\n

A WRPD news release says officers responded to a call at 234 Randy Circle around 8 p.m. following reports of a shooting.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, police learned a confrontation between 35-year-old Lamarcus Graves and 33-year-old Aundre Pope ended with Pope being shot. He was taken to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. Police did not reveal his condition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
