Taco Bell employee shoots robbery suspect during exchange of gunfire in Akron, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCLEVELAND, Ohio \u2013 A man has been hospitalized after a Taco Bell employee shot him Monday during a robbery.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened about 7:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Arlington Street. Akron police said that a 35-year-old man robbed the restaurant at gunpoint. The suspect then shot at a 21-year-old employee, who returned fire, police said.<\/p>\n

The suspected robber suffered a gunshot wound to his upper body during the exchange. The Taco Bell employee was not harmed.<\/p>\n

The suspect ran away with money, but he was later taken to Summa Health Akron City Hospital. He remains in stable condition, police said. He faces robbery and other charges once he is released, police said.<\/p>\n

Police later discovered Rayshoun Bruce, 33, of Akron dropped the suspect off at the hospital. He was charged with robbery and booked into the Summit County Jail.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Male shot after reported burglary at a home in Pittsburgh-area neighborhood<\/strong><\/p>\n

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — According to Pittsburgh police, a male arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound after a reported burglary in the Terrace Village section of the city.<\/p>\n

The incident happened along Burrows Street just after 10 p.m. on Monday.<\/p>\n

In a release sent out by police on Tuesday morning, a woman ended her relationship with the male victim, when he showed up at her house and kicked her back and front doors in. Police said she told officers she shot him when he came towards her.<\/p>\n

The man left the home and later turned up at Mercy Hospital in critical condition after abandoning his vehicle near Duquesne University and towed to the Auto Squad.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
