Clark stated that he decided he was a Democrat because &#8220;I was pro-affirmative action, I was pro-choice, I was pro-education &#8230; I&#8217;m pro-health care &#8230; I realized I was either going to be the loneliest Republican in America or I was going to be a happy Democrat.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The happy democrat isn&#8217;t pleased with the administration&#8217;s handling of the current iteration of the never-ending Middle East crisis.<\/p>\n<h3>Wesley Clark: Biden\u2019s Iran Stance Is Telling the Bully \u2018Please Don\u2019t Hit Me\u2019 and \u2018Encouraging\u2019 Attacks<\/h3>\n<p><strong>IAN HANCHETT<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>On Monday\u2019s broadcast of \u201cCNN News Central,\u201d CNN Military Analyst and former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Gen. Wesley Clark (Ret.) stated that the Houthis and Iran react to rhetoric from the Biden administration by saying, \u201cthey don\u2019t want it to escalate, well, let\u2019s do it again and make them escalate.\u201d And \u201cas long as the United States is holding back and saying, oh please, don\u2019t do this to us, oh, please, stop, it\u2019s like saying to the bully on the street, oh, please don\u2019t hit me again, he\u2019s going to hit you again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clark said, \u201cI don\u2019t quite understand the purpose of the messaging from the White House. Because, if you don\u2019t want it to escalate, then who are you telling that to? If you tell it to the Houthis and the Iranians, they\u2019re like, oh, they don\u2019t want it to escalate, well, let\u2019s do it again and make them escalate.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2024\/01\/02\/wesley-clark-bidens-iran-stance-is-telling-the-bully-please-dont-hit-me-and-encouraging-attacks\/\">Breitbart<\/a><\/p>\n<p>How&#8217;s that affirmative action working, Wes? Anyway, he makes the quite legitimate point that the current tit-for-tat &#8220;proportional&#8221; response is ludicrous and the best way to stop this activity is to stop this activity, kinetically and permanently. The US has international maritime law and the naval presence to do so. Lacking is political will from the Oval Office.
