Trempealeau County homeowner shoots potential burglar<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBLAIR, Wis. (WKBT) — A Trempealeau County homeowner shot a man who broke into his home. That’s according to Blair police.<\/p>\n

Chief Kent Johnson said dispatch got a call around 1:00 a.m. Monday morning from a home on Taft Street.<\/p>\n

The caller said a man had broken into her home. Her husband confronted and shot the suspect who kicked in their door.<\/p>\n

The suspect is now at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.<\/p>\n

Police say the same suspect also broke into another home earlier in the night. Blair police say there is no threat to the public.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Baker City Police shoot suspect who brandished gun<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two Baker City Police officers shot and injured a man who brandished a gun at them early Tuesday morning, Jan. 2.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, at about 2 a.m., two Baker City Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Clark and Church streets, which resulted in an officer involved shooting. The passenger brandished a firearm and was subsequently shot by officers.<\/p>\n

The man received medical attention and is being treated at a Boise hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
