Folks that push socialism, communism, progressive ideology, etc., generally lack understanding of the economy, human nature, history, etc. Many progressives think that they could vote for politicians who would spend more money to solve problems. However, they seem to be oblivious about the flow of money that the government receives. For example, they think that the rich and super rich have unlimited money. If the rich would simply pay their fair share of the taxes, more socialist programs could be funded. This is a part of the reason why they lend themselves to being made into a meme.
