\nST. LOUIS \u2014 Police said a man acted in self-defense after he shot and killed an intruder early Friday morning inside a home in north St. Louis.<\/p>\n

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting and burglary just before 1 a.m. Friday to a home in the 4400 block of San Francisco Avenue, located on the edge of St. Louis’ Penrose neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Police said the 37-year-old man and his 36-year-old girlfriend were asleep in their bed. They woke up to find the woman’s ex-boyfriend standing over them with a gun pointed at her current boyfriend. The man grabbed his own gun and shot the suspect multiple times.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nA woman is dead after a heated dispute at a strip club in northwest Miami-Dade ended in a shootout with a security guard. NBC6\u2019s Niko Clemmons reports<\/p>\n

A woman is dead after a heated dispute at a strip club in northwest Miami-Dade ended in a shootout with a security guard early Friday, officials said.<\/p>\n

Miami-Dade Police officials said the incident unfolded at Club Climaxxx at 12001 Northwest 27th Avenue around 3:20 a.m.<\/p>\n

Police said several individuals were engaged in a heated dispute inside of the establishment which then continued outside in the parking lot.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn armed security guard that works for the establishment attempted to diffuse the situation, as is his job,” Miami-Dade Police Det. Andre Martin said.<\/p>\n

Martin said a woman who had been involved in the dispute got in the back seat of a car, pulled out a gun and fired a shot at the guard.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Local residents hold car theft suspect at gunpoint, ending manhunt in Walton County<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWALTON COUNTY, Fla. — A man was arrested Saturday morning after deputies say a manhunt ended with residents holding him at gunpoint in Walton County.<\/p>\n

37-year-old Anthony McMillian, of DeFuniak Springs, is charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Obstruction Without Violence, Attach Registration License Plate Not Assigned, and Property Crimes — Possess Vehicle With Altered Numbers.<\/p>\n

According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy attempted to pull over McMillian near County Highway 192 after noticing he was driving a stolen vehicle.<\/p>\n

Deputies say McMillian was driving a stolen red Dodge Ram that he attempted to paint black to throw off law enforcement.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s office says during the traffic stop, McMillian stopped the truck and ran away on foot.<\/p>\n

About 30 minutes later, the sheriff’s office says deputies were led to Campbells Rest Road where three residents were holding McMillian at gunpoint.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
