Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical<\/a><\/p>\n Employee shoots and kills armed robber in Southwest Philadelphia convenience store: police<\/strong><\/p>\n PHILADELPHIA – A store employee turned the tables during an armed robbery that ended with a suspect being shot dead overnight in Southwest Philadelphia.<\/p>\n Police say the 28-year-old robber immediately went behind the counter when he walked into the Happy Day Food Market on South 58th Street.<\/p>\n He was partially masked, and holding a gun while wearing gloves.<\/p>\n When he started to put money in his pockets, police say an employee pulled his gun and fired several shots at the suspect.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 1 \/ 0 \/ 0 Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 3004 Greenridge Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a shooting\/assault incident at 3004 Greenridge Drive about 5 :30 p.m. on Tuesday (October 24).<\/p>\n The suspect, J\u2019Darrius Peoples, 18, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 180th State District Court. A booking photo of Peoples is attached to this news release.<\/p>\n The male victim, 21, suffered a laceration to the lip and was treated at the scene. Officers learned Peoples was in stable condition at the hospital. He was found to have four open felony warrants.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 Mr. Peoples’ mug shot is priceless. \nHPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call outside a convenience store at the above address and were advised the victim and a male suspect, later identified as Peoples, got into an altercation while parking their vehicles. Peoples pulled out a gun and struck the victim in the face with it. During an ensuing struggle, the victim managed to fire the weapon and strike Peoples more than once. Peoples went to a hospital with gunshot wounds prior to officers\u2019 arrival.<\/p>\n
