Woman fatally shoots knife-wielding man in Morgan Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

CHICAGO – A woman fatally shot a knife-wielding man early Sunday in Morgan Park on the Far South Side.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. when a 41-year-old man who the woman knew approached her with a knife inside her home in the 11500 block of South Vincennes Avenue, Chicago police said.<\/p>\n

The woman then pulled out a gun and shot the man four times in his torso, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nNASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman is claiming she fatally stabbed her boyfriend in self-defense at Athens Way Apartment, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.<\/p>\n

According to police, 32-year-old Jerel Williams died of a stab wound to his chest during what his girlfriend said was an argument that turned physical inside her apartment.<\/p>\n

Aimee Abrecht, 38, told detectives that Williams hit her in the face and strangled her, according to police. She also said he pointed a pistol at her, police said.<\/p>\n

She called 911 around 5:45 a.m. after the stabbing and rendered aid to Williams when officers arrived.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
