The first appeared to be Puerto Ricans in Upper Senate Park advocating for free healthcare for Puerto Ricans. I might have been sympathetic, but somehow, calling themselves Americans while chanting in Spanish didn&#8217;t endear me to them &#8211; not to mention the &#8220;Viva Puerto Rico&#8221; while they&#8217;re all standing squarely in the center of Washington, DC;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/thisainthell\/3973347472\/\" title=\"DSC_0052 by jlilyea, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3489\/3973347472_929f865821.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"DSC_0052\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/thisainthell\/3972580617\/\" title=\"DSC_0058 by jlilyea, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2613\/3972580617_eef9e2f73d.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" alt=\"DSC_0058\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then I went down to the park where the &#8220;Meds&#8221; were supposed to be and I found quite a bit fewer than a million &#8211; about 999,900 fewer.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"344\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/JsqdwLGuNCY&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/JsqdwLGuNCY&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"425\" height=\"344\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>I should have been clearer &#8211; <strong>these doctors and nurses oppose the health care bills<\/strong> working their way through Congress. I don&#8217;t know which protest was better.
