OK, so the title of this thread is based on a Mexican song that was sung by various units as they marched off to The Alamo if the book I am currently reading is to be believed. It seemed vaguely proper for a quick post. (Someone go ahead and translate if you feel like it.)\u00a0 As you can see from the picture above of my horribly coffee deficient desk this morning, I have the books of Jesse MacBeth and Dahr Jamail ready to be perused.<\/p>\n

I pretty much fricken lost it after 2 paragraphs of Jesse’s book when I read this line:<\/p>\n

Honestly, I don’t even know what that means. But it struck me as hilarious.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I took a quick gander at Dahr’s book this morning and expected the same ole shite. Apparently not, we get an entirely new heaping portion of shite. My good buddy Geoff “Stolen Valor” Millard gets 12 pages, the better part of one chapter. I figured it would be his dopey racism stuff with “Hadjis” inability to operate motor vehicles in a safe manner being the context. How surprised was I that instead it was his “resistence.” Which started because when he went to his new guard unit they had (allegedly) printed out targets with his picture on them and then informed him they were going to the range the next day. He apparently called his lawyer (presumably after shitting his pants, but before cleaning them) and then went AWOL.<\/p>\n
