The alleged intruder, who hasn&#8217;t been identified, was shot in the foot and is expected to be OK, according to officials with the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).<\/p>\n<p>Police said they believe the back door was locked when the man was able to get into the home.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>0 \/ 1 \/ 0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kens5.com\/article\/news\/local\/public-safety\/san-antonio-republic-shooting-police-texas-sapd\/273-3d937066-8bf2-4fb8-90a8-e13f66d238bf\">KENS 5<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>18-year-old shot and killed during reported burglary in west Jefferson Co.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) &#8211; The Jefferson County Sheriff\u2019s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that happened during a burglary Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The Jefferson County Coroner\u2019s Office has identified the person shot and killed as Charlei Angelo Jordan of Birmingham. He was 18.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies were called to the 6600 block of Newbridge Cove in unincorporated western Jefferson County around 6:45 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>When they got to the scene, deputies found Jordan\u2019s body.<\/p>\n<p>The initial investigation suggests Jordan was hiding inside the home and was discovered by the homeowner.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said Jordan began to leave the home, but was confronted by another person who was sleeping in a room near the exit.
