Shots fired during vehicle burglary in Clewiston<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCLEWISTON \u2014 On August 22, 2023, at approximately 4:50 a.m., a homeowner on the 1000 block of Bayberry Loop in Clewiston, Florida observed three males on his home camera system burglarizing his vehicles. The homeowner grabbed a firearm, fired three to four shots, and went after the suspects who fled on foot between neighboring homes. The vehicle<\/strong> that the suspects came in was parked at the edge of the homeowner\u2019s property.<\/p>\n

Clewiston Police officers arrived and noted a white Nissan sedan<\/strong> parked on the edge of the property with a male in the rear passenger seat attempting to conceal himself and a second male on the floorboard of the vehicle.

\nA computer check revealed that the white Nissan sedan<\/strong> was reported stolen by the Palm Beach County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
