\nHOUSTON \u2014 A man and woman were hospitalized after an apparent domestic violence incident in the Acres Homes area, according to Houston police.<\/p>\n

The incident happened just before 4 a.m. Saturday on Mount Street near Wall Street in northwest Houston.<\/p>\n

Police responded to a call of a shooting at a home when they found a man with a gunshot wound to his mouth being treated at the scene. They said the man got into an argument with his wife while their 8-year-old daughter was home.<\/p>\n

The argument then turned physical, which led to the husband threatening his wife with a gun. The wife then shot her husband once in the mouth with her own gun in self-defense, according to police.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rideshare driver with CCL shoots robbers on Chicago’s West Side<\/strong><\/p>\n

CHICAGO – A rideshare driver shot two robbers Saturday morning while on a job in North Lawndale.<\/p>\n

Chicago police say the 26-year-old driver was dropping off a passenger around 1 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Millard Avenue when two people \u2013 a man, 20, and an 18-year-old woman \u2013 walked up to him and announced a robbery.<\/p>\n

The male suspect took the victim\u2019s cell phone, then fired shots as the two robbers tried to flee the scene, police say.<\/p>\n

Police say the driver, who is a concealed carry license holder, returned fire, striking the man in the leg and grazing the woman in the arm. The driver was not injured.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
