1 hospitalized after shooting in Colerain Township<\/strong><\/p>\n

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – A man has been hospitalized after a shooting in Colerain Township.<\/p>\n

The shooting was reported at approximately 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the corner of Libra Lane and Burgess Drive.<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to UC Medical Center. His condition is unknown.<\/p>\n

On Aries Court and Burgess Drive, one block away, a man told police he shot a man during a home invasion robbery.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Homeowner shoots intruder in Broken Arrow<\/strong><\/p>\n

A man who police believe was having a mental health event broke into the house of a relative early Tuesday and was shot by the homeowner. <\/p>\n

The suspect,51-year-old Dustin Personette, was armed with a shovel when he entered a home in the 1200 block of East Yakima Street, on Broken Arrow’s north side, around 1:20 a.m.<\/p>\n

Police responded to the home for a report of a domestic disturbance and found Personette inside with a gunshot wound. The homeowner, who is related to the suspect, has not been charged so far and is cooperating with the police investigation. <\/p>\n

Personette was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
