{"id":14486,"date":"2009-09-20T12:57:36","date_gmt":"2009-09-20T17:57:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=14486"},"modified":"2011-05-03T05:38:27","modified_gmt":"2011-05-03T09:38:27","slug":"oath-keepers-and-ivaw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=14486","title":{"rendered":"Oath Keepers and IVAW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been receiving emails over the last few months about <a href=\"http:\/\/oathkeepers.org\/oath\/\">Oath Keepers<\/a> and my initial impressions of the organization were good. I mean, I&#8217;m all for military and law enforcement officers pledging to keep their respective oaths. And the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.examiner.com\/x-1417-Gun-Rights-Examiner~y2009m8d29-SPLC-continues-hate-smear-against-Oath-Keepers\">Southern Poverty Law Center is scared by them<\/a>, so that&#8217;s always good.<\/p>\n<p>A week or so ago, one of my RSS feeds took me to an article on Oathkeepers&#8217; website that was written by Eric T Orseske, an IVAW member. At the time, I let it slide to see what Oath Keepers would do about it &#8211; within a few days, the post came down. Well, <a href=\"http:\/\/oathkeepers.org\/oath\/2009\/09\/19\/army-veteran-and-ivaw-member-tells-his-story\/\">the same post popped up again<\/a> today;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/eric-t-orseske1a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14488\" title=\"eric-t-orseske1a\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/eric-t-orseske1a.jpg\" alt=\"eric-t-orseske1a\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Well, i just think it&#8217;s odd that Oath Keepers would associate itself with someone blatantly opposed to oaths. The IVAW has recently, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=14418\">at least at Fort Hood<\/a>, encouraged soldiers to break their oath to serve.
