The few actual duties of the Vice President are to a) keep breathing b) replace the President if they are incapacitated and c) cast tiebreaker votes in the Senate if needed. Kamala Harris is doing the latter (nice, given that the other things she has been assigned to do like address the border crisis have gone unaddressed):<\/p>\n

Harris, who will be in office at least another 18 months and is seeking reelection, has tied John C. Calhoun’s record for tiebreaking votes in the Senate at 31.\u00a0 MSN<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now, it took Calhoun 8 years to hit 31 back 1825-1832. Harris took 2.5 years. Says something about how partisan and evenly balanced the Senate is.<\/p>\n

Among other things, there is a county in northern Alabama named after Calhoun. Wonder what will be named after Harris?<\/p>\n

One of Zelensky’s bodyguards was noted toting a $5000 “Alien” pistol recently. Good that all that US aid is going to something nice, right?<\/p>\n

Very elegant design. Wonder when it comes out in .45?<\/p>\n

Nothing like OpSec – a Russian submarine commander, Stanislav Rzhitsky, assassinated while on his morning jog in Krasnodar may have helped enable his own hit.<\/p>\n

Russian media earlier reported that Rzhitsky\u2019s killer may have used Strava, a widely available app used by runners and cyclists, to follow his movements.<\/p>\n

Rzhitsky\u2019s jogging and cycling routes appear on an account in his name on the Strava app. One of his regular jogging circuits that he took while working in Krasnodar include the park where he was killed early Monday.<\/p>\n

One Russian media outlet, Tsargrad, said the assailant \u201cplanned the murder so carefully that the moment of the attack did not appear on any CCTV cameras.\u201d\u00a0 CNN<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
