Supporters for this bill argue that these individuals were disadvantaged and suggest that this contributed to the actions for which these individuals are now facing the judge. These politicians are trying to tie historical treatment to criminal acts. This bill appears to be a spin-off from recommendations provided by California&#8217;s Reparations Task Force.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">From Fox News:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Assembly Member Reggie Jones-Sawyer, the Democratic chair of the California Assembly&#8217;s Public Safety Committee, quietly introduced Bill 852 in February.
