CCL holder shoots attempted home invader in Sheffield Neighbors<\/strong><\/p>\n

CHICAGO – A CCL holder shot a female offender trying to enter his residence on Chicago’s North Side Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Police say the male victim fired at the offender to prevent them from entering a home in the 2200 block of North Clybourn Avenue in Sheffield Neighbors.<\/p>\n

The incident happened around 10:40 p.m. The offender was found with a gunshot wound to the wrist and chest and was transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition.<\/p>\n

A gun was recovered on scene.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nHARRIS COUNTY, Texas \u2014 A man was shot Thursday after attempting to steal a car in north Harris County, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.<\/p>\n

This happened in the 14100 block of Sunwick Street, which is just west of the Hardy Toll Road. The sheriff tweeted about the incident shortly after 8:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

The sheriff said the attempted robber was confronted by the car owner in the process of the robbery. That’s when the attempted robber pulled out a gun and shot at the car owner. The car owner too had a gun and shot at the attempted robber, hitting him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
