The Hawken Gun<\/a><\/p>\n HPD: Deadly confrontation under investigation at west Houston apartment complex<\/strong> Author: John Diaz The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. at adjoining apartment complexes on Woodway Drive near Fondren Road.<\/p>\n According to police, a resident at one of the complexes noticed two men walking through a large hole in the fence near some dumpsters. Police said the resident had security cameras installed around his townhome following a recent string of robberies.<\/p>\n After noticing the two men walk through, the resident went out to the dumpsters and confronted both men with his pistol.<\/p>\n “He walked out to approach them and advised them that they need to get off the property,” HPD Lt. Wilkens said. “When he came out, he did have his pistol. Lucas Boulevard, the Mesquite Police Department said Friday.<\/p>\n The two adults were identified as 19-year-old Ahliyah Turner, of Garland, and Kiara Beale, a 21-year-old woman from Dallas. Turner was charged with warrants from another agency while Beale was charged with assault causing bodily injury.<\/p>\n The three juveniles were charges with two counts of assault, criminal mischief and theft.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
