Police: Homeowner\u2019s son kills home invasion suspect in Tulsa<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nTULSA, Okla. (KFOR) \u2013 Investigators in Tulsa say an alleged suspect in a home invasion has been killed by the homeowner\u2019s son.<\/p>\n

Around 4 a.m. on June 9, officers with the Tulsa Police Department received a call about an armed robbery in the 700 block of N. Hudson Ave.<\/p>\n

Detectives say the suspect came through an open bedroom window of a home and was armed with a gun.<\/p>\n

The homeowner said the suspect demanded items from him, but he said he didn\u2019t have anything of value.<\/p>\n

At that point, the suspect found the homeowner\u2019s mother and allegedly took her cell phone, a safe, and car keys.<\/p>\n

While the homeowner was on the phone with dispatchers, the alleged suspect came back and kicked in the front door.<\/p>\n

Officials say that\u2019s when the homeowner\u2019s son shot him with a shotgun.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The son’s gun fired either a bunch of various sized pellets or one very large one. Unlike the one the suspect brought. Thanks, Gun Bunny.<\/p>\n
