Suspect dead, Canton officer grazed by bullet: Police<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCANTON, Ohio (WJW) \u2014 A Canton police officer was grazed by a bullet in a shooting late Wednesday night and a suspect in the incident has died, police sources confirm to the FOX-8 I-Team.<\/p>\n

According to police, the shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m. when officers responded to a disturbance at a home in the 300 block of 25th St SW.<\/p>\n

Police say, shortly after arriving, officers were fired upon and returned fire, wounding the suspect, who has been identified as 41-year-old Jeffrey Neff.<\/p>\n

Sources told the I-Team that Neff was involved in some sort of domestic incident and ran from officers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Very minor injury to the LEO, didn’t even seek medical assistance. Mr. Neff not so much.<\/p>\n

Fredonia man shot by Ozaukee County detective who was serving a felony search warrant<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAn Ozaukee County detective shot a man this morning while serving a felony search warrant for internet crimes against children, according to a press release from the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s department said that while serving a search warrant at a house in Fredonia, a suspect “armed themselves with an edged weapon” and was shot by the detective. The shooting occurred at approximately 7:25 a.m.<\/p>\n

The man was transported to a hospital. He is in serious condition.<\/p>\n

The detective was also injured and taken to a hospital with what police have described as minor injuries.<\/p>\n

Ozaukee County sheriff’s officials have so far declined to provide identifying details about either the victim of the shooting or the detective.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
