Now that Brandon “Beaker” Friedman has moved on, dicksmith seems to be all alone over at the VetVoice blog. They took on Matthew Alexander, the pseudonymous interrogator who also works as Batman in his spare time, but Alexander isn’t contributing much. That damned Batsignal keeps going off in the evening sky.<\/p>\n

Well, now they’re really scraping the bottom of the intellectual barrel. In keeping with their MoveOn overlords’ directions, they let another phony vet write for them on another non-vet related subject;<\/p>\n

Yes, John Kerry, who obviously doesn’t want to defend us against terrorists, preaches that our greatest threat is “climate change” – I guess it’s not global warming anymore since it’s been so cold the last year or so. In fact his “proof” that we’re headed for an international disaster is cloaked in anti-intellectual terms;<\/p>\n

The individual data points may sometimes be murky. But the pattern they create is irrefutably clear: We don’t know if Hurricane Katrina was caused by climate change, but we do know that we are rapidly heading for a world where climate change causes worse Katrinas. We don’t know with certainty whether climate change pushed Darfur over the edge, but we do know that it will cause more tension just like we’ve seen in Darfur.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nThe data is “murky” but the solutions are “clear”. “We don’t know”…”but we do know” – twice. Reminiscent of the “I voted for the war before I voted against it” line that haunted him through his presidential campaign. Personally, if I were a Democrat, I’d be leading a movement to throw this embarrasment out of office. If I lived in Massachusetts, I’d find someone else to vote for just to get this horse-faced clown out of my state.\n<\/p>\n
