Pursuit ends with man shot dead by police, officials say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBECKHAM COUNTY (KOKH) – A man is dead after leading officers on a high speed chase in Beckham County on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Officials say the incident began as a pursuit and search for a man in Elk City.<\/p>\n

The pursuit ended south of Canute Friday afternoon when the man crashed and threatened officers with a gun.<\/p>\n

Officers initially began looking for the man after reports indicated that he made threats at a local business in southeast Elk City. Reports also indicated that the man struck a couple on a motorcycle in that area causing them to crash.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Home invasion suspect shot by homeowner in Constantine Township<\/strong><\/p>\n

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) – Michigan State Police troopers are investigating an alleged home invasion on Friday night in Constantine Township that ended with the homeowner shooting the suspect.<\/p>\n

Troopers were called around 10 p.m. to a home in the 60000 block on Maple Road. The homeowner told troopers that a man armed with a knife had entered his home, so he shot him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
