Savage Axis II<\/a><\/p>\n Ga. gas station clerk shoots robber after he drives stolen car into business, deputies say<\/strong><\/p>\n WSBTV.com News Staff Deputies with the Flagler County, Florida Sheriff\u2019s Office say Qwinntavus Kwame Jordan walked into a convenience store in their area at 3:30 a.m. on Friday morning and demanded all the money in the cash register after threatening the clerk with the threat of a gun.<\/p>\n After getting $90 from the register, deputies say Jordan got a Gatorade from the refrigerator and demanded the clerk give him cigars, put $5 on a gas pump and give him the quarters from the register so he could put air in his tires, according to the incident report.<\/p>\n After chasing Jordan into south Georgia, police were able to use a stop stick on his car on I-95.<\/p>\n Jordan then ran to another convenience store and pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded his car keys.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n 0 \/ 1 \/ 0 For his trouble Mr. Jordan was perforated by rounds from his own firearm. Link courtesy of our own David.<\/p>\n Roanoke Police investigate home invasion shootout<\/strong><\/p>\n By Pat Thomas About 6:10 p.m. April 26, 2023, a Roanoke Police officer on patrol on Melrose Avenue NW heard the sounds of nearby gunshots, according to the department. As the officer headed to the area, Roanoke dispatch got a report of someone shooting at a home in the 1600 block of Gilmer Avenue NW.<\/p>\n Responding officers learned a male had forced his way into the home and started shooting, at which point people inside the home shot back. The shooter ran off, according to police, with no injuries reported at that point.<\/p>\n A short time later, officers were notified that a man with what appeared to be non-life-threatening gunshot wounds had arrived at LewisGale Medical Center via personal vehicle. Officers spoke with him, and determined he is the suspect in the shooting on Gilmer Avenue NW. Police say he and the owner of the home know each other.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
