No, I am not a happy camper. Our people are being evacuated from Sudan, and the first thing I asked under my breath was “Why were they there?”\u00a0 They are sitting ducks.<\/p>\n

The next thing I asked is why is this happening again?<\/p>\n

These are links to the full articles of Americans being evacuated from Saigon in April 29, 1975. The Viet Cong had already breached the outer skirts of Saigon and while there are recordings of US Army personnel contacting each other about it, they still make me so angry that I will not post them anywhere.<\/p>\n

To say that this whole thing makes me very angry is an understatement.\u00a0 In my view, there is no excuse for what is going on now in Sudan. It could have been avoided if anyone at all in US government had paid attention.<\/p>\n
