Police responding to a report of a domestic dispute have fatally shot a man reportedly carrying a gun in suburban Chicago.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened around 5 a.m. Friday as uniformed officers arrived at a home south of Chicago in Dolton, WGN-TV reported, citing police. Police shot the man after he refused multiple orders to drop the weapon.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Second Saturday Morning Homicide Investigation at Alvarado & Zuni<\/strong><\/p>\n

SE Albuquerque, NM – According to the Albuquerque Police Department, around 4:30AM, Officers were originally dispatched to reports of a shooting near the area of Alvarado Dr SE & Zuni Rd SE. The individual died from their gunshot wound injuries prior to APD Officers arriving on scene. It appeared to us that the shooting happened at the “Smokers R’ Us” Smoke Shop located at 5808 Zuni Rd SE.<\/p>\n

The Albuquerque Police Department\u2019s Homicide Unit is taking over the shooting investigation.

\nAround 2PM, APD’s civilian PIO Gilbert Gallegos sent out an email that said:<\/p>\n

“APD detectives are investigating an overnight shooting as a justifiable homicide.<\/p>\n

Detectives learned the owner of the business, located at 5808 Zuni Rd., S.E., shot an intruder who appeared to breaking in with burglary tools.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“This is the second homicide investigation in six hours and the third homicide investigation in the last 28 hours.”
