JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A man was shot in the leg after breaking into a Jackson homeowner\u2019s shed Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The incident happened off Northside Drive.<\/p>\n

The homeowner told WLBT that this is an ongoing problem in the area, and that the suspect pulled a baton when confronted inside his shed and that\u2019s when he shot him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No charges after resident shoots, kills man who broke into Austin home, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

AUSTIN, Texas – Austin police say no charges will be filed after a resident shot a man who was trying to break into their home in Northeast Austin.<\/p>\n

Police say they got a 911 call just after 5:30 a.m. on April 18 to report a man trying to break into a home in the 7600 block of Bethune Avenue.<\/p>\n

A woman told police the man was banging on her door, trying to break her door down, and she was trying to hold the door closed.<\/p>\n

The woman said then the man broke in through a window and shots were fired.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
