Shooting outside Glendale smoke shop was in self-defense, store owner says<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nGlendale detectives are investigating after a man was shot multiple times outside a smoke shop late Thursday night.<\/p>\n

The shooting was reported on April 6 at 11:45 p.m. at a strip mall near 65th Avenue and Glendale.<\/p>\n

The owner of Smoke Casa, Ouday Muslet, says his store was just about to close when an armed man came inside and wrestled his employee to the ground.<\/p>\n

The employee, who also had a gun in his waistband, shot the man in the leg. Muslet said the man responded by pointing a gun at the clerk’s head.<\/p>\n

“He had no time to do anything, he was literally attacked at the front door,” Muslet said.<\/p>\n

The unknown man reportedly managed to take the employee’s gun and ran outside, pointing both weapons at him.<\/p>\n

Muslet then claimed that the clerk grabbed another gun they had on hand at the store and shot the man outside.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Coeur d’Alene PD investigates shooting that left one dead<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Coeur d\u2019Alene Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 200 block of W Canfield Ave, in the Target and Michael\u2019s shopping center parking lot.<\/p>\n

In the parking lot near Michael’s, a white male was seen burglarizing vehicles. Another older male, who was armed with a handgun, saw what he was doing and confronted him.<\/p>\n

The man who was burglarizing the vehicle then got into another vehicle and accelerated toward him. The older male ended up on the hood of the car, fired multiple shots, and struck him at least once.<\/p>\n

They then crashed into another parked car, throwing the older male off the hood. The man got out of the vehicle and was on the ground when the police arrived. The officers gave medical aid to both of the males.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
