Pilot rest for a\u00a0 couple of Delta pilots was interrupted\u00a0 by DoD and FBI agents who detained the pilot after GETTING THE ROOM WRONG in a role-playing exercise.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The DOD agents were conducting a role-playing operation with the assistance of the FBI Boston Division when they broke into the wrong room at the Revere Hotel on Stuart Street around 10 p.m., according to a Boston police report.<\/p>\n<p>Sources told 25 Investigates that the agents entered a room that two Delta pilots were staying in, and one pilot was handcuffed in the bathroom for about 45 minutes. After the incident, sources said the pilots went the hotel\u2019s front desk and had workers called Boston police.<\/p>\n<p>Boston 25 News Security Analyst Dan Linskey explained there is a system in place to make sure errors like this don\u2019t occur.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomewhere along the line there should have been a check and balance to make sure that this could not happen,\u201d said Linskey. \u201cYou\u2019ve got to have this scenario written, there\u2019s got to be a safety officer that\u2019s involved in these procedures and their job is to make sure these types of things don\u2019t happen, and somebody definitely dropped the ball.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/feds-agents-detain-wrong-person-193352853.html\">25News via Yahoo<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Have to wonder why only one of the pilots was cuffed &#8211; you would think both or neither would have been. Gonna be expensive for the taxpayers if it turns out the cuffed pilot had some identifiable minority thing going.\u00a0 Got the wrong room? Isn&#8217;t having the room number correct one of the most basic things?
