Earlier today (Monday as I write)\u00a0 a 28 year old transgender female former student decided to shoot up a private Christian school in Nashville, TN and killed three adults and three kids before he was in turn killed by the police 14 minutes into his rampage. Yahoo News <\/a><\/p>\n I’m not going to name him or use his “preferred” pronouns as he would wish – if killing kids,\u00a0 screw his pronouns. Let the bastard die obscure and unnamed as he deserves.<\/p>\n While mass shootings have become an increasingly common occurrence in the United States, the perpetrators of such attacks are rarely female.<\/p>\n According to the Violence Project, a nonpartisan group that studies U.S. mass shooting data, 98% of mass shootings in the U.S. since 1966 have been committed by men.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Yahoo News <\/a><\/p>\n I don’t see the stats changing… a TG woman doing the killing doesn’t rock that 98% boat at all.\u00a0 I’m certain someone will come forward and claim that he thought he was “bullied” when in school, and use that as justification to lionize what a b-r-a-v-e soul he was to deal with all that pain… bullshit. Shooting up a school 10 years after leaving isn’t justifiable under any circumstances.<\/p>\n Oh, and the news reports\u00a0 say he had two “assault style” (whatever that is) weapons and a handgun. Time will tell what he actually used (that narrative has been run out almost every time, and in many cases, has been false.) . But whatever it was, it hasn’t stopped Joe Biden for howling for an assault weapons ban yet again. I guess I can’t be shocked at Biden being\u00a0 Biden – but it is deeply disappointing that before the blood finished pooling he was splashing in it to make a political point. Jeez, Joe, you really are a tasteless disgusting little man, aren’t you?<\/p>\n Oh, and I did see where Matt Gaetz said a few days back that the Dems’ next move on guns would probably to be to declare guns a “National Health Emergency”.<\/p>\n At a House Judiciary subcommittee meeting on the “ATF\u2019s Assault on the Second Amendment,” Rep. Cori Bush, D-MO, argued that it\u2019s time to declare a public health emergency to prevent gun violence.<\/p>\n “And our fellow Americans know the impact of folks up here in Washington declaring everything and anything a public health emergency,” Gaetz added. “It means you\u2019re more likely to be locked in your homes, deprived of your freedoms, less healthy, less safe, less secure and less able to live a truly American life.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
