\nAn armed Arizona gas station clerk shot a would-be thief during a botched robbery after the alleged suspect pointed a gun at customers, officials said.<\/p>\n

A masked man stormed into a Chevron station at just before 5 a.m. Wednesday and aimed his gun at the clerk, Avondale Police told KSAZ-TV.<\/p>\n

The clerk, who was working the graveyard shift, told the outlet that the suspect mumbled the words “rob” and “money.”<\/p>\n

“In all reality, he didn’t need to say anything,” the clerk, identified as Brian, said. “The moment he pointed the gun at me, it was pretty obvious what he was there for.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Grand jury declines charges in the fatal shooting of Toledo man<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe Lucas County grand jury has ruled the shooting and killing of a Toledo man as an act of self-defense.<\/p>\n

According to Toledo Police detectives, there will be no charges against a man accused of shooting and killing Issac Carpenter.<\/p>\n

Carpenter\u2019s mother Aviance Hill is still in shock that the death of her son was ruled as a justifiable shooting.<\/p>\n

The Toledo Police Department released the surveillance video and further explained why the man who killed Carpenter was not charged.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was essentially a self-defense argument,\u201d said TPD Sergeant Roy Kennedy \u201cThe response to the initial act was a justified shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police said the deadly shooting stemmed from a domestic incident after Carpenter\u2019s sister claimed a man hit her.<\/p>\n

Investigators said she called her brother and other family members to meet her at the man\u2019s house.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nA Los Angeles 17-year-old who ran over a mother walking her baby in a stroller in 2021 and received just a few months of diversionary camp as punishment was gunned down in Palmdale this week.<\/p>\n

Kristopher Baca, whom Fox News Digital has previously not identified due to his youth, pleaded guilty to the hit-and-run last year.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles County Coroner-Medical Examiner’s office confirmed his death Friday but said the examination was still pending.<\/p>\n

Deputies found him dead with gunshot wounds in a Palmdale driveway on the 83600 block of 11th Street East Wednesday evening, according to the sheriff’s office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
