Missouri woman tracks down, kills alleged carjackers at gas station<\/strong>

\nPolice arrested a Missouri woman after she tracked down her stolen car and killed two men outside a gas station for the alleged theft.<\/p>\n

Demesha Coleman, 35, was charged Thursday with two counts of murder, one count of assault and three counts of armed criminal action after shooting and killing Darius Jackson, 19, and Joseph Farrar, 49.<\/p>\n

Police found Farrar next to a gas pump with a gunshot to the torso and Jackson was on the ground next to the car, also shot in the torso.<\/p>\n

A third man sustained a gunshot to the head during the shootout, but survived, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. It remains unclear which of the three men, if any, may have stolen the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Coleman approached a Hyundai Tucson at a St. Louis Speedie Gas station Wednesday night with a man who was also carrying a weapon, police said after examining surveillance footage. Coleman opened the door with her gun raised and started shooting.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nA Shaw Air Force Base airman shot an individual who attempted to illegally get into the property in South Carolina on Friday.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, the individual who attempted to enter the base is being described as a “gate runner,” WCBD reported.<\/p>\n

The individual was taken to a local hospital after the incident.<\/p>\n

Col. Kristoffer Smith, 20th Fighter Wing commander, said, “Our security forces personnel are trained to respond to a variety of situations to ensure the safety of our personnel and assets.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nA Florida inmate died at a hospital after attacking detention deputies at a jail in the city of Frostproof, according to officials.<\/p>\n

Eric Nelson, a registered sex offender with a 26-year criminal history, died at a hospital on Friday after attempting to punch, kick and bite deputies, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said, according to FOX 13.<\/p>\n

He was arrested Friday by the Lakeland Police Department following a report of a possible burglary suspect running from a Taco Bell toward a Starbucks. Officers located him in the Starbucks parking lot and searched the backpack he had in his possession.<\/p>\n

Officers found syringes and a baggie of a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine in the backpack. Nelson told the officers he uses the needles to “shoot meth.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
