Oregon man stalking ex-girlfriend shot dead by her family<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAn Oregon man allegedly stalking his ex-girlfriend has been shot to death by one of her family members.<\/p>\n

Cody Buyas, 36, of Beavercreek south of Portland, died in a hospital on after he was shot on Sunday night near Sherwood, according to KATU2.<\/p>\n

The Washington County Sheriff\u2019s Office told the outlet that the altercation occurred just before 8pm and that Mr Buyas was \u201cstalking an ex-girlfriend at her home\u201d when members of her family discovered him.<\/p>\n

Mr Buyas revealed that he had a weapon during a confrontation with the family members, one of whom discharged their firearm several times, investigators said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Woman shot in Milledgeville after attacking deputies with a hammer during church robbery, cops say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe GBI is investigating a robbery in Milledgeville that left one woman shot and a Baldwin County deputy injured, officials said.<\/p>\n

A Pennsylvania woman named Fiesta Lattina Murphy, 48, was shot during the incident after attacking Baldwin County sheriff\u2019s deputies with a hammer, according to a press release from the GBI.<\/p>\n

The incident started when Baldwin County deputies investigated a robbery at about 5 p.m. at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Milledgeville.<\/p>\n

When the deputies entered the church to make sure no one was inside, Murphy attacked the officers and hit one of them in the arm with the hammer as he tried to protect his head, according to officials.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
