Dems have reached a fever pitch of incoherence. Their internal polling showed the drums they were banging, abortion and 06 January, were falling flat with the electorate. Republicans are bringing up inconvenient facts on a de facto economic recession, 40-year inflation highs, rampant crime, education, and the state of the life blood of the economy- energy sources- to name several.<\/p>\n

Prog counters of evil Republican plans to reduce federal spending on Social Security and Medicare were created out of whole cloth, and thinly veiled threats of “Democracy is on the ballot” ring hollow (I voted, democracy WAS my ballot).<\/p>\n

It’s gotten so bad they actually have resorted to telling the truth- sort of.<\/p>\n

In the final hours before the midterms, Joe twice verified Barry’s assessment of his uncanny ability to, ah, make errors in critical thinking. First, he made certain there would be no doubt about his vision for America’s coal industry:<\/p>\n

“We’re going to be shutting these plants down all across America and having wind and solar power,” Biden said at an event in California last Friday, adding that this shift will save utility companies “a hell of a lot of money” because “it’s cheaper to generate electricity from wind and solar than it is from coal and oil.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I can store it in mason jars, too. The death of the fossil fuel industry has been Joe’s starting position since he ran for the office from his basement. Yet Joe Manchin is shocked to hear this and commented that Biden’s remarks were “outrageous and divorced from reality” and stated:<\/p>\n

“Comments like these are the reason the American people are losing trust in President Biden and instead believe he does not understand the need to have an all in energy policy that would keep our nation totally energy independent and secure,” Manchin said in a statement. “It seems his positions change depending on the audience and the politics of the day.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Schumer must be laughing his ass off. My kin in West-By-God Virginia are patiently waiting for 2024, Senator. They are not pleased.<\/p>\n

Not satisfied with killing the coal industry, Joe took aim at drilling. In a single exchange with a heckler, he destroyed two years of prog’s straw-man attacks on Covid, Putin, Big Oil, and Mom&Pop gas stations.<\/p>\n

Off the leash for New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, Joe responded to a shouted question from a green activist audience member about his longstanding promises to shut down fracking and new drilling on federal lands.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo more drilling,\u201d he said on Sunday. \u201cThere is no more drilling. I haven\u2019t formed any new drilling.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Last Monday Joe called on oil companies to expand their supply. He just admitted the fuel shortage causing so much pain is his policy, as we all knew.<\/p>\n

One more. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chief Representative Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY) chose this moment to channel his inner “Qu’ils mangent de la brioche” side.<\/p>\n

“I grew up in a family where if the gas price went up, the food price went down, so by this time of the week we\u2019d be eating Chef Boyardee if that budget wasn\u2019t gonna change \u2013 So that\u2019s what families have to do,” he said during an interview with Westchester’s Halston Media.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I can’t drive 55, either. I suppose an idea or three on relieving the monetary hardships on one’s constituency is too much to expect these days. Time for an election.<\/p>\n
