Except that I got this email right after the first one telling me that “according to their records” I live in Maryland’s eighth district and would I please call my congressman, Chris VanHollen, to give him moral support in this grueling battle against “scare tactics”.<\/p>\n
So who is astroturfing now? I’m guessing my uber-Leftist Congressman isn’t venturing out into the wilds of Silver Spring among the unwashed masses. Of course, most of his constituents in my neighborhood barely speak English, anyway, so why bother. So I should boost attendence in another district.
