Boy, 8, turns the tables on deadly cobra and bites back, killing it<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAn 8-year-old boy in India turned the tables on a deadly cobra after getting bitten by it. He bit back and killed the poisonous snake.<\/p>\n

In what The New Indian Express aptly called \u201ca bizarre incident,\u201d the boy named Deepak was playing in the backyard of his house on Monday when he was bitten.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe snake got wrapped around my hand and bit me,\u201d Deepak explained to The New Indian Express. \u201cI was in great pain. As the reptile didn\u2019t budge when I tried to shake it off, I bit it hard twice. It all happened in a flash.\u201d<\/p>\n

The boy was rushed to a health care center.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was quickly administered anti-snake venom and kept under observation for the entire day, and discharged,\u201d Dr. Jems Minj told the Express.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

‘I will shoot you’: Police release body cam of officer shooting man in Fairfield Township<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA man accused of charging at Fairfield Township police officers with a knife and a hammer Wednesday is facing criminal charges, though he has yet to be released from the hospital after he was shot by an officer, police said.<\/p>\n

Brian Hubbard, 29, is charged with two counts of felonious assault, Fairfield Township Police Chief Robert Chabali said during a press conference Friday.<\/p>\n

Hubbard was shot multiple times in the chest and was taken to UC West Chester Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition Wednesday night. Chabali said Hubbard is still alive though his condition could change at any time.<\/p>\n

Police also released the body and dashboard camera footage of the shooting, which happened in the 5500 block of Liberty Fairfield Road at Camargo Trailer Park.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
