Armed suspect shot during botched home invasion near Spring, deputies say<\/strong>
\nInvestigators said two men, one armed with an AR-15 and another with a handgun, forced a woman into the home. Her roommate confronted the men before opening fire.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nA shooting that started as a home invasion is under investigation near Spring, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies were called out to Stratton Creek Drive just before 11 p.m. Monday night after receiving word about a home invasion.<\/p>\n

Investigators said that a woman was moving a car from the home’s driveway after her boyfriend left. As she walked back towards the home, two armed men pulled up behind her and forced her into the house.<\/p>\n

The victim’s roommate heard her screaming when he confronted the men and opened fire, shooting one of the suspects in the stomach. Both men ran from the scene, but deputies said there was also a getaway driver.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hampshire County sheriff releases more information on bus stop shooting death<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nROMNEY, W.Va. \u2014 So far authorities have filed no charges in connection with a shooting death from last week at a school bus stop in Hampshire County.<\/p>\n

According to Hampshire County Sheriff Nathan Sions, a man identified as Shawn Davis approached another individual identified as John Dulaney while a number of students were awaiting the arrival of the school bus. Dulaney was sitting in a pickup truck at the bus stop around 6:30 a.m. last Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Davis was carrying a knife at the time he approached Dulaney. There was a verbal confrontation and Mr. Dulaney reported Mr. Davis reached through the window with the knife. The knife was closed but he said he was afraid he was going to flip it open and that\u2019s when he essentially fired two shots.\u201d said Sions.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
