\nArmageddon<\/p>\n

Last week Putin warned that he wouldn’t hesitate to use nuclear weapons to defeat Ukraine’s advances in Moscow-occupied areas that the Kremlin has annexed. As the West dismissed that as a scare tactic, a top Putin lieutenant upped the ante. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said NATO countries would not retaliate if Russia used a tactical nuke in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

“Let’s imagine that Russia is forced to use the most fearsome weapon against the Ukrainian regime which had committed a large-scale act of aggression that is dangerous for the very existence of our state,” Medvedev. “I believe that NATO will not directly interfere in the conflict even in this scenario. After all, the security of Washington, London, and Brussels for the North Atlantic alliance is much more important than the fate of an unnecessary Ukraine.”<\/p>\n

Speaking in an online video, Ukrainian President Zelensky asserted that NATO had a responsibility to \u201cmake it impossible for Russia to use nuclear weapons.\u201d<\/p>\n

“What is important, I once again appeal to the international community, as I did before February 24: We need pre-emptive strikes<\/strong> so that (the Russians) know what will happen to them if they use them (nuclear weapons), and not the other way around.”<\/p>\n

Ukraine has applied for NATO membership.<\/p>\n

Biden’s nuclear ‘Armageddon’ warning raises questions about deterring Putin<\/h3>\n

President Joe Biden sounded the alarm over nuclear \u201cArmageddon,\u201d delivering a stark warning of the risks of escalation in Russia\u2019s war in Ukraine before prominent donors and raising further questions about U.S. resolve.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis,\u201d Biden told Democrats gathered at the New York home of investor James Murdoch. He said President Vladimir Putin was threatening to use a tactical nuclear weapon to escape defeat as Russia continues to mount losses.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not joking,\u201d Biden added. \u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s any such thing as the ability to easily [use] a tactical nuclear weapon and not end up with Armageddon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Biden also wondered about an \u201coff-ramp\u201d for Putin, asking, \u201cWhere does he find a way out? Where does he find himself in a position that he does not only lose face but significant power within Russia?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Brilliant. Joe’s idea of fundraising is to elevate the potential of a nuclear winter obliterating the planet, and then to ask the audience what he should do about it. Joe’s Handler’s fell all over themselves walking back this dog, but the damage has been done. <\/p>\n

When questioned by media, in and of itself a rare event, Joe responded in an unusual manner.<\/p>\n
