Multiple sources report that the Army’s first transgender officer has been indicted for passing military health information to the Russians. MAJ Jamie Lee Henry is seen above.<\/p>\n
Dr. Jamie Lee Henry and her spouse, Dr. Anna Gabrielian, were accused of conspiracy and attempting to illegally disclose \u201cIndividually Identifiable Health Information\u201d (IIHA), according to an indictment that was unsealed Thursday.<\/p>\n
\u201cGabrielian then told the [undercover agent] that she had previously reached out directly to the Russian Embassy by email and phone, offering Russia her and [Dr. Henry\u2019s] assistance,\u201d according to the indictment.<\/p>\n
Dr. Gabrielian, an anesthesiologist, told the undercover FBI agent the couple could pass along private patient information of military members based at Fort Bragg, N.C., home of the Army\u2019s 18th Airborne Corps and the Special Forces. Delta Force, the Army\u2019s lead anti-terrorist unit, also is based there.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Previously, in the wake of Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine, she reached out directly to the Russian embassy offering assistance from her and her spouse, though she reportedly did not tell Henry of this interaction, according to the indictment.<\/p>\n
Additionally, during the discussion, Henry shared that they had looked into volunteering for the Russian Army after its invasion of Ukraine began but noted their lack of combat experience prevented them from joining.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
