Not over the arrest thing, he was quite clearly in the right to arrest Gates for acting like an asshole. (For more on that part of this story, read investigative reporter Iowahawk<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

This morning on my local TV station (I get virtually nothing on my cable here in Indy) there was a discussion about the Brew Summit tonight between Obama, Gates and Crowley. Seems all 3 are Irish. Here is Gates and Crowley<\/a>, and Obama I know from the Irish band I met on the Metro after the innauguration.

Anyway, this news program this morning was discussing what beer will be drank. Apparently Obama drinks Bud. And the other two drink some shit I never heard of, one of them with a orange peel in it. If I wanted my beer with a fruit, I’d drink in a gay bar.\u00a0<\/p>\n

(For the record, I really also don’t have anything against Gay bars, provided that they have an in-drag Abba cover band playing, nor against beers with fruit.\u00a0 Well, actually the fruit beer thing is kinda gay.)<\/p>\n

Anyway, further research today indicated this article wherein I learned that Crowley took the call from Obama in an Irish pub<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe president was on TV, talking about the man I was standing next to,\u201d Shearer told the herald. \u201cEven I felt powerful. And I\u2019m just a lowly waiter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Afterward, the mood of everyone in the pub lifted, he said, there was a huge cheer and a couple of cops bought a round of Bud Light<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

With all due respect to the cops, and Crowley, Pog Mo Thoin<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Remember when Gozar the Gozarian asked Ray Spengler if he was a God? And Peter got pissed off: “When someone asks if you are a God, you say YES!”

\nWell, if you are an Irishman, asked to drink a beer with the President in the White House, then YOU PICK GUINNESS. Man this pisses me off. I wish St Padraig would come back and scare a snake up all their asses for being traitors to the Irish culture.<\/p>\n

(Not that it should be neccessary, but in case there are any hyper-sensitive thespians out there, I still support Crowley and the Cops, and praise Obama for this move.\u00a0 Just pissed that my beverage of choice is not given a coaster at the table.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
