PINO Joe made a speech in Wilkes-Barre, PA Tuesday in which, among other things, he laid out his case for banning AR-15s.<\/p>\n

“Do you realize the bullet out of an AR-15 travels five times as rapidly as a bullet shot out of any other gun?” Biden asked rhetorically<\/a> during his speech.<\/p>\n

Biden also claimed that “AR-15s just rip the body apart,” which is also inaccurate. Damage from a gunshot depends on the type of bullets used.<\/p>\n

Biden also ridiculed Second Amendment advocates<\/a> in the Tuesday\u00a0speech, sarcastically calling them “brave” for believing guns are a tool for self-defense.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We all know the .223\/5.56 is considered a medium powered cartridge. Five times the muzzle velocity? Apparently it is now a portable rail gun shooting 15,000 foot per second rounds.\u00a0 Uh, no, Joe, try around 2,500-3,000 fps like most decent hunting rounds – and with its light bullet, the .223 is barely adequate for deer-sized animals. Moose, bear, large game? Not only no, hell no. Fastest bullets? Fox even listed one of my favorite names when they cited faster rounds:<\/p>\n

Field & Stream listed .220 Swift, .257 Weatherby Magnum and .30\/378 Weatherby as the fastest rounds, along with 224 Clark and .22 Eargesplitten Loudenboomer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Rip the body apart? Yeah, they do some damage, but I’d file his assessment in the same file as his “9mm will blow a lung out of your body” claim.<\/p>\n

If you ever want to screw with a lib’s head, ask them: if the Holy Writ of Gun Control is such Gospel: why do they always lie about it? Why do the anti-gun groups keep changing their cause (gun confiscation, banning handguns, gun safety, common sense gun laws, etc.) and indeed even their names?<\/p>\n
